Denis discovered the circus arts at Pop Circus at the age of nine. His partner Airelle Caen obtained her bachelor’s degree in circus at l’Ecole Nationale de Cirque de Châtellerault in 2001. They joined the Centre des Arts du Cirque de Lomme in 2002 and graduated in 2004 with the piece Contrecarré. In 2005, they founded Compagnie XY et participated in its two collective creations Laissez-Porter (2005-2010) and Le Grand C (2009). They were also performers in the Fardeau company for L’Incident and 1896.
